Chain Poem

Read Alone......

Especially the Poem

I believe what ever is in store for us will be for us.

Around the corner I have a friend,
In this great city that has no end,
Yet the days go by and weeks rush on,
Around the corner I have a friend,
In this great city that has no end,
Yet the days go by and weeks rush on,
And before I know it, a year is gone.
And I never see my old friends face,
For life is a swift and terrible race,
He knows I like him just as well,
As in the days when I rang his bell.
And he rang mine but we were younger then,
And now we are busy, tired men.
Tired of playing a foolish game,
Tired of trying to make a name.
'Tomorrow' I say! 'I will call on Jim
Just to show that I'm thinking of him.'
But tomorrow comes and tomorrow goes,
And distance between us grows and grows.
Around the corner, yet miles away,
'Here's a telegram sir,' 'Jim died today.'
And that's what we get and deserve in the end.
Around the corner, a vanished friend.

Remember to always say what you mean.
If you love someone, tell them.
Don't be afraid to express yourself.
Reach out and tell someone what they mean to you.
Because when you decide that it is the right time it might be too late.

Seize the day. Never have regrets.

And most importantly, stay close to your friends
and family, for they have helped
make you the person that you are today.
You must send this on in 3 hours after reading the letter to 10 other people besides me

If you do this, you will receive unbelievably good luck.

*NOTE*

the more people that you send this to,
the better luck you will have.

SMILE, even through your tears!!!!!

The Boulevard of Broken Dreams.

The Boulevard of Broken Dreams - Leslie Cheung.

I walk along the street of sorrow,
The boulevard of broken dreams.
Where gigolo and gigolette
Can take a kiss without regret
So they forget their broken dreams.

You laugh tonight and cry tomorrow,
When you behold your shattered dreams.
And gigolo and gigolette
Awake to find their eyes are wet
With tears that tell of broken dreams.

Here is where you’ll always find me,
Always walking up and down.
But I left my soul behind me
In an old cathedral town.

The joy you find here, you borrow,
You cannot keep it long, it seems.
But gigolo and gigolette
Still sing a song and dance along
The boulevard of broken dreams.

~interlude~

Here is where you’ll always find me,
Always walking up and down.
But I left my soul behind me
In an old cathedral town.

The joy you find here, you borrow,
You cannot keep it long, it seems.
But gigolo and gigolette
Still sing a song and dance along
The boulevard of broken dreams.

House of Dreams - Sara Teasdale

YOU took my empty dreams
And filled them every one
With tenderness and nobleness,
April and the sun.
The old empty dreams
Where my thoughts would throng
Are far too full of happiness
To even hold a song.
Oh, the empty dreams were dim
And the empty dreams were wide,
They were sweet and shadowy houses
Where my thoughts could hide.
But you took my dreams away
And you made them all come true --
My thoughts have no place now to play,
And nothing now to do.

But There Are Dreams That Cannot Be

I Dreamed A Dream

There was a time when men were kind,
And their voices were soft,
And their words inviting.
There was a time when love was blind,
And the world was a song,
And the song was exciting.
There was a time when it all went wrong...

I dreamed a dream in time gone by,
When hope was high and life, worth living.
I dreamed that love would never die,
I dreamed that God would be forgiving.
Then I was young and unafraid,
And dreams were made and used and wasted.
There was no ransom to be paid,
No song unsung, no wine, untasted.

But the tigers come at night,
With their voices soft as thunder,
As they tear your hope apart,
And they turn your dream to shame.

He slept a summer by my side,
He filled my days with endless wonder...
He took my childhood in his stride,
But he was gone when autumn came!

And still I dream he'll come to me,
That we will live the years together,
But there are dreams that cannot be,
And there are storms we cannot weather!

I had a dream my life would be
So different from this hell I'm living,
So different now from what it seemed...
Now life has killed the dream I dreamed...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yt-IBJpEMzA

The Phantom of the Opera

But there are dreams that cannot be,到底 can be還是 cannot be,到夢醒時分就會知道,Fantine的夢,又是一椿明知不該為而為之。

Friedrich Nietzsche 's Quotation

  1. For men are not equal: thus speaks justice.
  2. What is done out of love always takes place beyond good and evil.
  3. Disgust with dirt can be so great that it prevents us from cleaning ourselves - from "justifying" ourselves.
  4. "Every man has his price." This is not true. But for every man there exists a bait which he cannot resist swallowing. To win over certain people to something, it is only necessary to give it a gloss of love of humanity, nobility, gentleness, self-sacrifice - and there is nothing you cannot get them to swallow. To their souls, these are the icing, the tidbit; other kinds of souls have others.
  5. No price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself.
  6. Faith: not *wanting* to know what is true.
  7. Hope in reality is the worst of all evils, because it prolongs the torments of man.
  8. Whatever does not destroy me makes me stronger.
  9. There are no facts, only interpretations.
  10. Battle not with monsters, lest ye become a monster, and if you gaze into the abyss, the abyss gazes also into you.

My Redeemer Lives –Dick & Rick Hoyt

Sung by NICOLE C. MULLEN

Who taught the sun where to stand in the morning?
and Who told the ocean you can only come this far?
and Who showed the moon where to hide 'til evening?
Whose words alone can catch a falling star?

Well I know my Redeemer lives
I know my Redeemer lives:
All of creation testifies
This life within me cry
I know my Redeemer lives, yeah.

The very same God that spins things in orbit
runs to the weary, the worn and the weak
And the same gentle hands that hold me when I'm broken
They conquered death to bring me victory

Now I know my Redeemer lives
I know my Redeemer lives
Let all creation testify
Let this life within we cry
I know my Redeemer, He lives
To take away my shame
And He lives forever, I'll proclaim

That the payment for my sin
Was the precious life He gave
But now He's alive and
There's an empty grave.

And I know my Redeemer lives
I know my Redeemer lives
Let all creation testify
Let this life within me cry
I know my Redeemer,

I know my Redeemer
I know my Redeemer lives
I know my Redeemer lives
I know that I know that I know that I know that I know my redeemer lives
Because He lives I can face tomorrow
I Know I know
He lives He lives yeah, yeah I spoke with him this morning
He lives He lives, the tomb is empty,
He lives I gotta tell everybody

Love - Swami Vivekananda

I once had a friend who grew to be very close to me. Once when we were sitting at the edge of a swimming pool, she filled the palm of her hand with some water and held it before me, and said this: "You see this water carefully contained on my hand? It symbolizes Love."

This was how I saw it: "As long as you keep your hand caringly open and allow it to remain there, it will always be there. However, if you attempt to close your fingers round it and try to posses it, it will spill through the first crack it finds.

This is the greatest mistake that people do when they meet love...they try to posses it, they demand, they expect... and just like the water spilling out of your hand, love will retrieve from you .

For love is meant to be free, you cannot change its nature. If there are people you love, allow them to be free beings.

Give and don't expect.
Advise, but don't order.
Ask, but never demand.

It might sound simple, but it is a lesson that may take a lifetime to truly practice. It is the secret to true love. To truly practice it, you must sincerely feel no expectations from those who you love, and yet an unconditional caring."

Jacques Brel - Seasons in the sun ( Le moribond )

J'veux qu'on rie
J'veux qu'on danse
J'veux qu'on rie
J'veux qu'on danse

J'veux qu'on rie
J'veux qu'on danse
J'veux qu'on rie
J'veux qu'on danse

J'veux qu'on rie
J'veux qu'on danse
J'veux qu'on rie
J'veux qu'on danse

J'veux qu'on rie
J'veux qu'on danse
J'veux qu'on rie
J'veux qu'on danse
Quand c'est qu'on m'mettra dans l'trou

Seasons in The Sun - Nirvana vs Westlife

Goodbye to you my trusted friend
We've known each other since we were nine or ten
Together we've climbed hills and trees
Learned of love and ABC's
Skinned our hearts and skinned our knees

Goodbye my friend it's hard to die
When all the birds are singing in the sky
Now that spring is in the air
Pretty girls are everywhere
Think of me and I'll be there

We had joy we had fun we had seasons in the sun
But the hills that we climbed were just seasons out of time

Goodbye Papa please pray for me
I was the black sheep of the family
You tried to teach me right from wrong
Too much wine and too much song
Wonder how I got along
Goodbye papa it's hard to die
When all the birds are singing in the sky
Now that the spring is in the air
Little children everywhere
When you see them I'll be there

We had joy we had fun we had seasons in the sun
But the wine and the song like the seasons have all gone
We had joy we had fun we had seasons in the sun
But the wine and the song like the seasons have all gone

Goodbye Michelle my little one
You gave me love and helped me find the sun
And every time that I was down
You would always come around
And get my feet back on the ground

Goodbye Michelle it's hard to die
When all the birds are singing in the sky
Now that the spring is in the air
With the flowers everywhere
I wish that we could both be there

We had joy we had fun we had seasons in the sun
But the hills that we climbed were just seasons out of time
We had joy we had fun we had seasons in the sun
But the wine and the song like the seasons have all gone
We had joy we had fun we had seasons in the sun
But the hills that we climbed were just seasons out of time
We had joy we had fun we had seasons in the sun
But the wine and the song like the seasons have all gone

Mae West's Witty 25!

http://mae-west.org/old/
  1. A woman in love can't be reasonable - or she probably wouldn't be in love.
  2. All discarded lovers should be given a second chance, but with somebody else.
  3. Anything worth doing is worth doing slowly.
  4. Don't cry for a man who's left you--the next one may fall for your smile.
  5. Don't keep a man guessing too long - he's sure to find the answer somewhere else.
  6. Don't marry a man to reform him - that's what reform schools are for.
  7. I believe that it's better to be looked over than it is to be overlooked.
  8. I generally avoid temptation unless I can't resist it.
  9. I'm single because I was born that way.
  10. I speak two languages, Body and English.
  11. I used to be Snow White, but I drifted.
  12. It isn't what I do, but how I do it. It isn't what I say, but how I say it, and how I look when I do it and say it.
  13. Its not the men in your life that matters, its the life in your men.
  14. It takes two to get one in trouble.
  15. Ladies who play with fire must remember that smoke gets in their eyes.
  16. Look your best - who said love is blind?
  17. Love conquers all things except poverty and toothache.
  18. Sex is an emotion in motion.
  19. The score never interested me, only the game.
  20. There are no good girls gone wrong - just bad girls found out.
  21. Those who are easily shocked should be shocked more often.
  22. Too much of a good thing can be wonderful.
  23. When I'm good I'm very, very good, but when I'm bad, I'm better.
  24. Whenever I'm caught between two evils, I take the one I've never tried.
  25. You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough.
