大學預科時，我可以背誦整篇「哀江南賦序」！那時決定預科選修中文，老師說我在英文中學畢業，唸預科中文是不容易的事，我一意孤行，因爲我相信，身為中文老師的女兒，多少有點遺傳因子是唸得上中文的，加上老師引發我的讀書興趣，結果我是全班同學之中，最好成績的兩個人的其中一個。

六年前哥哥今天啓程了，想起這首歌的歌詞，一針見血，不差毫釐，酷！

據説一位法國攝影師拍下這組照片以後，

上 癮

小學一年級就喝咖啡，為了上課時可以精神八百，我和弟弟就順應父母的意思，每天早餐時順道喝一點黑咖啡（父母也說過睡前喝點酒會安睡得更好，真的沒有聼過有父母會教子女喝咖啡和酒！），當時覺得咖啡實在難喝，加上喝了之後總是心跳得厲害，四年級左右就告訴媽不要再喝了。

近年時有胃痛，有人說咖啡傷脾胃，所以沒想過要喝。

以往總是誓神劈願：「我不喜歡喝咖啡，因爲咖啡難喝，我只喜歡喝酒和水，因為酒能鬆弛神經，微醉的感覺飄飄然，而我又喜歡醉生夢死，後者是身體必須......」之類的狗屁道理，不知何故，今年年初某一天吃午餐的時候，突然想喝，隨便點了焦糖咖啡，然後竟然開始想喝咖啡起來。嫌普通黑咖啡或拿鐵太單調，便到咖啡專門店，嘗試朱古力咖啡、櫻桃咖啡、薑味咖啡等各種味道的咖啡，開始明白呆在那裏的樂趣。

如果喝酒是迷糊地醉，喝咖啡就是清醒地醉，因爲在神智清醒的情況下，明知道喝了咖啡後會心跳得厲害和有可能胃痛，還是想喝，喝完以後，清楚感受到心跳和接踵而來的胃痛，有點後悔，還是上了癮，猶如明知不該為而為之，比酒亂性更可怕。

上星期天，喝著冰凍的碎朱古力咖啡的時候，我才發現喝咖啡的感覺和見到您的感覺一樣，同樣心跳得厲害，同樣有點明知不該為而為之！

生命 - 候文詠

我和一位朋友傾談，他說雖然有兩份工作，而每月的收入卻非常低，但他已很高興了。

我很奇怪他還可以那麼開心，因為他的收入微薄，要節衣縮食才可以供養他年邁的父母、岳父母，太太，兩個女兒，還有一般家庭的各項開支。

他解釋說，那是因為數年前他在印度目睹一件事件的啟發。

當時他因為一次重大的挫折、心情低落，所以到印度散心。他說他親眼看到一個印度婦人，用刀將她的兒子的右手切下來。那婦人無助的眼神，以及四歲稚童痛苦的呻吟，至今仍令他心頭作痛難以釋懷。

你可能會問：為什麼那母親要這樣做？是否她的小孩太頑皮，或是他的手受到感染？ 都不是，原來只是為了行乞！那絕望的母親特意把孩子弄成傷殘，只是為了使他可以在街上行乞。

我的朋友嚇呆了，他把他吃到一半的麵包放下，隨即有五六個小孩湧至，爭食這片佈滿沙石的麵包，就如面對飢餓時的自然反應。

他對這情景很吃驚，他要導遊開車把他送到最近的麵包店，他去到其中兩家，把所有的麵包都買下來，麵包店的老闆很愕然，不過還是願意把所有都賣給他。他花了不足一百元，就買到約四百塊麵包(即每塊少於 25仙)，又用了一百元買一些日用品。

於是，他坐在一部載滿麵包的貨車往街上去，當他分發麵包和日用品給那些大部份是傷殘的兒童時，他們都報以歡喜和鞠躬，就是這樣，他在生命中第一次想到人們怎麼可以為一片價值不足25仙的麵包而那麼感動。

他開始對自己說，他是多麼的幸運：他有個完整的身軀，有一份工作，有個家庭，有機會抱怨食品的好與壞，有機會穿衣服，有機會擁有很多這些人沒有的東西。

現在，我開始想到和感受到：我的生命是否真的那麼差？也許吧？但想到這故事，我就覺得不是那麼慘。你呢？

或者下一次你覺得自己的生命很差的時候，想想那個因為行乞失去了一隻手的小孩吧！

『滿足感』不是來自去滿足於你想要的，而是能感受到：你所擁有的，已是那麼足夠。

1981年的經典電視劇Brideshead Revisited的中文名字也叫「故園風雪後」，所以林子祥的同名作品會令我想起這部電視劇，年輕的Jeremy Irons，還有劇中的淡淡哀愁。

其實歌曲和電視劇是頗爲配合的。
